Opportunities allow your firm to track and manage business development work flows and processes. This will be done in the Pipeline Management tool. Opportunities don’t have to be linked to Initiatives, but they can be.
Opportunity examples:
- Pitch OSHA counseling and litigation services to Company A
- Respond to employee benefits and executive compensation audits RFP from Company B
For example, these align with the Initiative of winning contracts with two major steel manufacturers which in turn drives the success of the overall Objective to expand the Labor & Employment practice by 20% by year-end.
In addition to linking Opportunities to Initiatives you'll be able to do things such as:
- Set attributes such as the type of Opportunity, type of work, origination source and the industry and/or practice group each might be associated with
- Set estimated revenues
- Add Firm Notes
- And track progress stages
Pipeline Management provides Business Development teams and firm leadership with a comprehensive view of what opportunities are open at any given time, and business development and marketing teams will be able to assist fee earners more proactively in progressing Opportunities through its stages. Fee earners will also have a single place and structure to move Opportunities to conclusion.
Pipeline Management features are only available to Professional and Strategic tier users.
