Data Stewards can exclude specific domains from which contacts should not be updated or created. This Exclusion List helps respect end-user privacy and maintain data quality.
Data Stewards have the ability to add up to 10 excluded domains.
- People contacts added to the Exclusion List must have a business email address on their contact record to be excluded from contact updates.
- Company contacts must have a unique website (domain) specified in the website field of the contact record for InterAction+ IQ Signature Capture to determine if the domain, or people associated to that domain are excluded from contact updates.
To add a user or company contact to an exclusion list:
- Go to Data Management > IQ > Exclusion List
- Click Add Contacts.
- Search by Company Name, Last Name, Phone or Email for the person or company contact you wish to exclude from updates.
- Click the
to add contacts, then click Add Selection.
- A notification will pop up to confirm that you have added the contacts to the Exclusion list.
To remove a user or company contact from the exclusion list:
- Go to Data Management > IQ > Exclusion List
- Click on the checkbox next to the contacts you wish to remove from the list.
- Click Remove Contacts.
