The Financials tab on a Contact displays summary level financial information associated with that contact when data is integrated from an external practice management or financial system. From this tab, you can review financial data at a high level and use grid tools to sort, filter, group, and customize how the information is displayed.
Financial data shown in this tab is not created or managed in InterAction+ AI. Your firm must configure an integration with an external system for financial data to appear, and you must have the appropriate permissions to view it.
View and Analyze Financial Data in a List
When you open the Financials tab for a contact, available financial records are displayed in a list view. This view allows you to review and analyze financial information associated with the contact.
Depending on the data provided by your integration, you may be able to view different types of financial records using available filters.
You can use the list to:
Review financial information associated with the selected contact
Sort, filter and group results to focus on specific records
Customize and rearrange columns for easier analysis
Customize Columns
You can choose which financial fields appear in the list and how they are arranged.
To customize columns:
Select Contacts from the menu on the left.
Open a Company contact record and select the Financials tab.
Select the Columns dropdown above the Financials list.
Choose up to 15 fields to display and select Apply.
Drag a column header to reorder columns or drop it in the grouping area to group by that field.
Resize columns as needed.
Your column selections are saved automatically.
Filter Financial Data
You can filter financial data directly in the list to focus on specific records.
To filter financial data:
Select the three-dot menu on a column header.
Choose filter options based on the field type:
Text fields (for example, contains or equals)
Period (using a date picker)
Numeric or currency fields (for example, greater than or less than)
Apply the filter.
You can apply multiple filters at the same time. Filters stack, allowing you to progressively narrow your results.
Sort and Group Financial Data
Select a column header to sort results in ascending or descending order.
Grouping options may be available depending on the fields provided by your integration, allowing you to organize financial data by attributes such as type or status.
Permissions and Data Availability
The Financials tab and its data are only available when:
An external financial or practice management system is integrated with InterAction+ AI
Your firm administrator has granted you permission to view financial data
If an integration is not configured or you do not have permission, the Financials tab may be visible but will not display any data.
Troubleshooting
I don’t see column, sorting, or filtering options.
Your environment may not be upgraded yet.
Your firm may be rolling out features in phases.
Contact your administrator if grid options are unavailable.
No financial data appears in the Financials tab.
Verify that your firm has configured an external financial or practice management integration.
Confirm that you have been granted permission to view financial data.
If the issue persists, contact your administrator.
My filters return no results.
Review active filters. Multiple stacked filters may exclude all records.
Clear filters and reapply them one at a time.
