To maintain the integrity of the data contained in Contacts, Contact updates need to be addressed. Contact updates can either be automatically applied or displayed for review. Contact updates are only indicated by on the Contacts Tab if they are not automatically applied. You can define your Contact update preferences on the Settings tab.
To Apply Contact Updates:
- Click on the Contacts tab.
- Click
, to open the Review My Contact Updates screen.
- The default option selected is to Skip the review and automatically update all my Contacts. If this option is selected, no further screens will be displayed for the updates currently available, and the updates will be applied immediately.
- If you wish to accept future updates for all Contacts currently available for review, select the check box Automatically accept all future updates for these Contacts.

If you wish to review updates instead of automatically applying all available updates, select the option I want to review updates to my Contacts.

Highly managed Contacts are curated by the firm to ensure they are correct. Any updates available from the firm for those Contacts can be trusted much more readily than other updates. Select the option Yes - Automatically accept updates to these highly managed Contacts and let me review the rest to apply those updates without review.
To help you save time, InterAction+™ gives you the ability to automatically accept updates for certain Contacts. InterAction+ includes the concept of “highly managed” Contacts. These are Contacts in collections that are managed by data stewards and “certified” to contain good data. You can select to automatically accept updates for any Contacts in one of those collections
- If automatically applying updates to highly managed Contacts, you can further specify that only specific lists of Contacts are automatically applied.
- If you want to review even updates to highly managed Contacts, select No - I want to review all updates.
- Click OK when you have made your selection about whether to apply specific types of updates.
