How Private Relationships Work
When a relationship is marked private, other users do not see the relationship owner’s identity. Instead, they see that a private or anonymous relationship exists.
Users can still request help through an anonymous inquiry. The private relationship owner then decides whether to respond and whether to reveal their identity.
Keep a Relationship Private During Contact Creation
Users can mark a relationship as private during contact creation. This allows privacy to be applied immediately instead of waiting until after the contact has been created.
1. Start the process to create a new contact.
2. Enter the contact details and select None of these so add contact as new.
3. Select the Keep My Relationship Private checkbox.
5. Complete the remaining contact details and click Save.
The relationship is created as private. Other users see that a private relationship exists and can send an anonymous inquiry if they need more information.
